Hello OSC families,
The 2026 edition of the Blue Bears Invitational is scheduled for January 16th - 18th, 2026 at the Kinsmen Sports Centre (Edmonton, AB). This meet is open to all swimmers and will be the first competition of the new year. There are time standards for the following events that swimmers must achieve if they wish to race in them: 200 Breast/Fly, 400 IM, and 400/800/1500 Free. All other events can be swum without meeting a time standard.
The Blue Bear invitational is a timed final swim meet. Declaration is now open for Blue Bears 2026 and will close on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 11:59pm. Please declare your child's attendance before the deadline before we all head into our Christmas break.
