Hello OSC families,
Westerns... The Best of the West Fest is officially announced and confirmed for this season. This meet is a strict qualifying meet for swimmers in Provincial, Senior Competitive and National who have met the standards. The competition is the gap between Provincial Championships and National Competitions. The 2026 edition is hosted by Swim Manitoba and will take place at the Pan Am Pool (Winnipeg, MB) from April 23rd to April 26th, 2026.
This meet will be treated as a National Meet which means team travel will be required. Declaration is now open for this meet until Monday, March 24th, 2026 at 11:59pm. That is the day after Winter Provincial Championships. Swimmers can still qualify for this meet after the declaration deadline but we will need to have early numbers to secure lower cost flights and hotel rooms for the weekend.
