Hello OSC Families,
The Red Deer Catalina annual Freeze or Fry swim meet falls on the weekend of June 6th - 7th, 2026 this season, but is currently subject to change. The Freeze or Fry meet is exactly as it says, some years we FREEZE and other years we FRY. This is a long course meet at the outdoor pool in Red Deer, AB. Please declare your attendance by Sunday, May 8th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
We have been informed by the Red Deer Catalina Swim Club that they are requesting to change the date to June 20th - 21st, 2026. If this happens OSC will unfortunately not attend this year as that is the weekend of our annual year end banquet and Blue vs White in-house swim meet. For now we will plan to attend the June 6-7th date event.
