This past weekend, 26 OSC swimmers from the National, Provincial, Senior Competitive, and Regional groups competed at the Cascade Speed Meet — and made their coaches proud with their outstanding mid-season performances!

Across the team, we achieved an impressive 78 personal best times and 18 podium finishes — a fantastic reflection of the hard work and dedication shown in training.

Highlights of the Weekend:

🏅 New Provincial Championships Qualifier:

Kathryn Woo achieved her first Champs time in the 200 Breaststroke with an incredible swim of 3:01.79 — congratulations on reaching this milestone!

🥇 Podium Finishes:

Kobyn Kirchner: 6 Golds

Layne Birbeck: 1 Gold, 1 Bronze

Sophia Musselman: 1 Silver, 1 Bronze

Tao So: 1 Gold, 1 Bronze

Kendall Zaboroski: 2 Silvers

Gillian Archer: 1 Silver

Taylor Bitea: 1 Silver

Tucker Buhler: 1 Silver

Leo Wang: 1 Silver

We’re now looking forward to an exciting stretch of upcoming competitions in late November and early December — Candy Cane is our next stop, followed by X-mas Cracker in Victoria and our very own JP Fiset Invitational.
