On the weekend of July 3-6th, 2025 we had 53 OSC swimmers represent us at the Edmonton Keyano International (or EKI).  This meet brings in the best swimmers across Western Canada to compete against each other as everyone prepares to compete one last time before Summer Provincials.

OSC had a very strong showing winning a combined 45 individual medals, a great preparation before the end of the season showcase!

We want to congratulate Tatiana Cockwell who swam the race of her life in the 200m Backstroke Final and went under the Swim Alberta Championships time standard with a time of 2:38.70 booking her ticket to Summer Championships in Edmonton at the end of July.  Congratulations Tatiana, everybody in the OSC family is extremely proud of you!

Congratulations to ALL swimmers on an amazing weekend.  The team showed amazing grit and determination, sometime racing tired in finals but still improving their times from prelims and moving up spots which is what we love to see!  Thank you to all the parents who attended and cheered, and some even volunteered their time to make sure the meet runs smoothly.  Indeed the MVP’s of the season so far are the parents!
