OSC Shines at Silver Rays Invitational

A total of 113 OSC swimmers competed at the SilverRays Invitational from May 29–31 at Kinsmen Sports Centre, producing outstanding results and showcasing the hard work they have put in throughout the season.

Qualifying Time Highlights

• Jacob Yeung earned his Championships time in the 200 IM (2:39.51).
• Lucas Ouellette achieved his first Provincial Trials time in the 200 Breaststroke (3:14.96).
• Seva Kovalchuk achieved Provincial Trials standards in the 100 Breaststroke (1:29.35) and 200 Breaststroke (3:17.78).
• Miller Schnepf achieved Provincial Trials standards in the 100 Butterfly (1:12.10) and 200 Butterfly (2:42.18).
• Deah Vegter achieved Provincial Trials standards in the 200 Breaststroke (3:10.71) and 100 Breaststroke (1:27.86).
• Michael Kaminsky achieved his Provincial Trials time in the 200 Breaststroke (3:11.30).
• Alice Giuffre achieved her first Festival time in the 50 Breaststroke (44.63).
• Jayden Guo earned his Festival time in the 200 Backstroke (3:14.75).

The OSC podium was led by Beckham Dodd (5 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze), Jeremy Tchir (2 gold, 1 silver, 4 bronze), Josiah Niina (3 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze), and Alyssa Argueta (1 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze).
