Hello OSC families,
OSC is excited to provide a new racing opportunity in February to all swimmers in Regional, Provincial, Senior Competitive and National. We are going to host a single session time trial on Sunday February 22nd, 2026 from 1:15 to 4:15pm at the Kinsmen Sports Centre (Edmonton, AB). This will be a long course time trial and swimmers will be restricted to only 2 events ranging from 100m to 400m. Please note that the 400m events may be restricted to a small number of swimmer wishing to make Provincial Trials/Championship standards. The time trials will be sanctioned so any qualifying time achieved will be considered valid.
We will also be hosting TWO officials clinics on the same day. There will be a Turn Inspector Clinic and Judge of Stroke clinic from 9:00am to 11:00am. To be eligible for the Judge of Stroke clinic you must have already completed the Turn Inspector clinic and done practical hours at a swim meet. Information about the clinics will be sent out shortly. Anyone who takes these clinics can also volunteer as an official at the February Splash Time Trial.
Declaration for swimmers are now open until Sunday February 15th, 2026 at 11:59pm. If you have any questions please contact your group coach.
